Pokémon Trading Card game Pocket has spent 100 million downloads, according to Pokémon Company.
Pokémon Tcg Pocket was launched at the end of October 2024 and had an impressive start, according to the reports, passing $ 120 million in profits in its first two weeks.
Now, the game, which allows players to collect virtual cards and change them with friends, has reached another impressive milestone: 100 million downloads.
This week, a new special expansion, Trumphant Light was launched. This set prominently presents the Pokémon Arceus, which debuted in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl in Nintendo DS.
“We would like to announce that Pokémon Trading Card game Pocket has reached more than 100 million downloads worldwide,” said Pokémon Pocket developer Tcg Dena. “Thanks to all those who have tried our game.”
Dena also reaffirmed that the classified matches, a characteristic that has been requested since the application was introduced, will soon be added to the game.
“We continue to develop and operate the game so that everyone can enjoy it even more, and plan to add classified games and continue adding more reinforcement packages and celebrating a variety of events in the future.”
The Pokémon company has said that it has no plans to add Pokémon Tcg Pocket to the list of Pokémon competitive games.
“We are always seeing different titles,” said Chris Brown, director of Pokemon Company of Global Evaports, during an interview with VGC.
“Pokémon’s dream is also out there,” Brown said, laughing. Last April, Pokemon Company launched a parody trailer for the Pokemon Sleep Champion tournament to celebrate April Innocents Day.
“But at this time there are no plans for Pokemon Pocket to join, but we are always looking at things.”
