The Cowboys are moving on from linebacker Logan Wilson, ending a short tenure that began with a midseason trade.
Dallas acquired Wilson from the Bengals at last year’s trade deadline in exchange for a 2026 seventh-round draft pick, adding depth and experience to the defense. Now, the organization has decided to release him as part of ongoing roster adjustments.

The move frees up a roster spot and signals potential changes within the linebacker rotation heading into the upcoming season.
In the NFL, even recent trade acquisitions aren’t guaranteed long-term roles.
