Eales warned that the club may have to sell players when announcing their 2022-23 figures last year, which followed a loss of £ 70.7 million in 2021-22, when the Saudi Public Investment Fund assumed the position of the club.
Under PSR, Premier League clubs can publish losses of up to £ 105 million during a three -year report cycle, although expense in academies, infrastructure and community projects are exempt from calculations.
