Nintendo’s Alarmo clock now has a general sale date in Japan

Nintendo has announced that its Alarm clock will be available in the general sale in Japan in May.

Previously, only Nintendo Switch online members have been able to ask for the alarm clock worldwide, although a lottery system was implemented in Japan due to its popularity.

A broader launch of the watch was expected in mid -January, but this was then postponed in early March due to the shortage of stocks. The clock will finally be ready for the general sale in May, but only in Japan.

Nintendo Japan added an update to his alarm notice, stating that the launch date for non -members will be May 22, 2025, both from my Nintendo Store and game Retailers. The early orders will open before this, although a date is unknown.

Until now, this is only in Japan, but presumably the news of a general launch will be followed worldwide.

First revealed in October, the alarm is an interactive alarm that responds to the movements of his body playing different sounds based on Nintendo’s video games.

In fact, Nintendo has added today the classic sound effects of Super Mario Bros. in the NES to the device, available to download for free.

Last month, a former Nintendo employee, sales leader in the sales and retail department, suggested that alarm’s release is linked to Nintendo online accounts may have been an intentional test before Switch 2 advance orders.

Switch 2 has not yet announced its release date. Perhaps the general sale of Alarm in May will release the Nintendo online store for the new console.
