Police: Dolphins’s Tyreek hill in domestic dispute with wife

Sunny Isles Beach, Florida. – The police were called to the Miami Dolphins open receiver’s house, Tyreek Hill and his wife for a domestic dispute on Monday, although no charges were presented.

According to a report from the Sunny Isles Beach Police Department, the officers responded to a call from the mother -in -law of Hill, who told them that Hill was “very aggressive and impulsive” and that he was “fear for her daughter.” According to Hill’s mother -in -law, Hill and his wife, Keeta Vaccaro, had an argument and he threw his laptop on the floor before grabbing his 4 -month -old daughter and heading to the balcony of his apartment on the 35th floor.

Vaccaro told the officers that they responded that she and Hill had been attending couple therapy due to their frequent arguments, but that it had not worked, and added that it was in the process of requesting divorce. She said that Monday’s argument began when she told Hill that she was not sufficiently involved in her daughter’s life.

According to TMZ, Hill received divorce documents on Tuesday.

Hill and Vaccaro told the officers that their argument on Monday was not physical, but the officers noticed a visible hematoma in the vaccaro chest. She told the officers that she probably suffered the bruise when Hill took her daughter at the beginning of her discussion and described him as an accident.

The officers said that Hill and Vaccaro’s daughter had good health, according to the police report, and they left without issuing charges or appointments. Vaccaro refused to write a statement about the incident, and Hill left the residence approximately 40 minutes after the officers arrived.

When he was contacted on Wednesday, a Dolphins spokesman issued this statement:

“On Monday, they informed us that the police were called to Tyreek Hill’s house, and after conversations with Tyreek and their family members, the police left the residence without more incident and the case was closed. Since then, we have been in communication with Tyreek and the NFL and will not comment on the matter.”

This marked the last in a series of incidents outside the field that involve Hill since he was changed to the Dolphins in March 2022.

In 2023, Hill was investigated after assaulting an employee at the Haulover seabed in Miami. Both parties reached a settlement, and Hill was not disciplined by the NFL. He is also the defendant in a civil lawsuit filed by the influence Sophie Hall, who alleged that Hill broke her leg during a June 2023 visit to her home. Hall said Hill was frustrated by her holding her during football exercises in Hill’s backyard and caused the fracture with a physical game. Hill played Hall’s account, claiming that he broke his leg when he stumbled upon a dog.

In September 2024, Hill was briefly arrested by police officers after they stopped him for speeding while heading to the Dolphins seasonal opening game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill and the officers who responded dedicated themselves to a verbal altercation that led the officers to drag Hill from their car to the pavement and put it on handcuff.

The incident, which took place on the outskirts of Hard Rock Stadium, was captured by nearby pedestrians and went viral on social networks. The officer who put Hill handcuffed was put in administrative tasks; Hill went on to play later that afternoon, registering 130 reception yards and a touchdown in Miami’s victory from behind.

Hill has also been the subject of commercial rumors since the end of the Dolphins season in January, during which Hill retired from the game. Talking to journalists later, Hill suggested that he wanted to play elsewhere; On social networks, he joked his head on a photo of former receiver Antonio Brown, who infamously removed his shirt and ran out of the field during a game, effectively ending his NFL career.

Hill returned his comments for multiple appearances in the media in February, apologizing to teammates and field marshal tua tagovailoa. At the annual NFL meeting last month, the Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel said he hoped Hill was with the team in 2025.

“We are planning to move forward as a better version of our relationship with Tyreek and the Miami Dolphins,” McDaniel said in March. “I have no reason to think otherwise.”

Miami reworkd Hill’s contract before the 2024 season to include more guaranteed money to the extension that originally signed in 2022. He underwent surgery this season low due to a wrist injury and is expected to return to the training camp this summer.
