Cowboys’ Dak Prescott expected to miss several weeks, source says

0

Prescott is seeking a second opinion to confirm treatment options, the source told Schefter.

Meanwhile, Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb has a sprained AC joint, a source told Schefter. Although Lamb’s shoulder is sore, the injury is not considered serious and he is expected to have a chance to play Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys could also get defensive end Micah Parsons back from his sprained ankle this week. A source told Schefter that Parsons, who has missed four games due to his injury, “should return” against the Eagles.

Prescott suffered his injury after a 5-yard scramble late in the third quarter of Dallas’ 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. On the next play, cameras caught him wincing as he threw a wobbly 10-yard pass to Jalen Brooks on the wide side of the field.

“I felt it when I was getting up from the race,” Prescott said Sunday. “I can’t even say I felt him run. The tackle, maybe something in the tackle. Yeah, I don’t know, but when I was standing, I actually felt something. I didn’t think it was much. You get tired. It’s a physical game. “Many times you feel different things and they disappear.”

When he reached the top of his ride, Prescott said he “felt something I’d never felt before. Yeah, it was hard to walk on at that point.”

He asked the medical staff if he could make the injury worse if he continued playing and was told he wouldn’t be able to protect himself, so he was pulled in favor of Cooper Rush to start the fourth quarter.

Prescott was 18 of 24 for 133 yards with a touchdown before leaving the game. He had a season-high 30 yards rushing, including a 22-yard gain on a scoring drive in the second quarter. It was the Cowboys’ longest streak of the season, and Prescott had entered the game with 24 rushing yards on the season.

Rush was 13 of 25 for 115 yards with a touchdown in relief. Before Sunday, Rush played in two games this season in mop-up duties, completing 9 of 14 passes for 52 yards with one interception. But in 2022, he went 4-1 as the Cowboys’ starter after Prescott suffered a broken right thumb in the season opener.

Trey Lance is set to be Rush’s backup with Prescott sidelined.

Prescott agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract hours before the start of the season that made him the highest-paid quarterback in the nfl. Including Sunday, he started 36 consecutive games after his thumb injury. He missed 11 games in 2020 due to a dislocation and fracture of his right ankle and missed one game in 2021 with a right calf strain.

Sunday’s loss dropped the Cowboys to 3-5 on the season.

Neymar injury: The Brazilian star hurts his thigh just two weeks after returning from a torn ACL at Al-Hilal

Neymar injury: The Brazilian star hurts his thigh just two weeks after returning from a torn ACL at Al-Hilal
Brazil international Neymar suffered a thigh injury in Al-Hilal’s AFC Champions League match against Esteghlal FC on Monday, just two weeks after returning to the field from a torn ACL.

Neymar came on in the 58th minute of Al-Hilal’s 3-0 victory over their Iranian rival, but came off in the 87th minute with a torn thigh. The severity of the injury is currently unclear, as is the recovery timeline. He had already been omitted from Brazil’s roster for upcoming World Cup qualifiers when he was named on Friday, which was not surprising considering the timeline for his return to play after tearing his ACL.

Monday’s game was just his second of last year, and he spent much of that time recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus in his left knee. He suffered the long-term injury in October 2022 during Brazil’s loss to Uruguay in a World Cup qualifying match, and eventually returned to play with a 13-minute cameo against United Arab Emirates side Al Ain in the AFC Champions League action on October 21.

This problem is just the latest for an injury-prone Neymar. Much of his tenure with Paris Saint-Germain from 2017 to 2023 was plagued by different spells on the sidelines, the most serious of which were a metatarsal fracture in early 2018 and an ankle injury that kept him out since November. from 2021 to February 2022. .

Additionally, he has only played seven games for Al-Hilal since his successful move to the Saudi Pro League during a summer in the Gulf nation, battling a variety of injuries. His Al-Hilal debut was delayed by about a month due to a muscle injury, and he only played five games last season before suffering anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus tears.

WI vs Eng: Phil Salt to keep wicket as Jos Buttler returns for West Indies T20Is

0
Phil Salt will keep the wicket for England’s T20I series against the West Indies, despite Jos Buttler’s return to the team.

White-ball captain Buttler has featured in 106 of his last 108 T20 internationals, fielding only the two matches that took place in Trinidad during England’s previous tour of the Caribbean in December 2023.

“It’s not something I’ve done much for England recently,” Salt said in Barbados before the third ODI. “But I enjoy keeping it. I feel like that’s where I offer the most.”

Salt remained in 13 of his 59 games for England across all formats and was handed the gloves in this current ODI series ahead of Jordan Cox, who will replace Test wicket-keeper Jamie Smith for the upcoming series in New Zealand.

Butler has been out for several months with a calf strain. Had he been fit to play the T20 series against Australia in September, Salt would have kept the wicket with Buttler willing to experiment with the captain from different positions on the field.

At the time, Buttler said: “I was going to give up the gloves and commit to being halfway there and see how it felt. If that helps me with my captaincy, that’s something I’m open to.”

Butler arrived in the Caribbean on Sunday and trained at Kensington Oval on Monday. He is not available for selection for the decisive ODI on Wednesday and will resume captaincy duties ahead of the five-match T20I series starting on Saturday, making his first appearance since England’s defeat in the T20 World Cup semi-final in June. Essex batsman and wicketkeeper Michael Pepper, originally only selected for the ODI team, has been added to the T20 squad and will remain with the group for the remainder of the tour.

On whether his decision to stay is a long-term decision, Salt said: “We haven’t had that conversation about anything in the future. I’m just happy to do it at the moment.”

Salt posted scores of 18 and 59 in the first two ODIs, and his half-century helped set up England’s chase of 329 to tie the series in the second game in Antigua.

After England were bowled out for 209 in the first match, captain Liam Livingstone criticized the performance and said the team needed to “bat more intelligently”.

While Salt has found his niche in T20 cricket, his ODI returns have not been as consistent. In his last ten ODIs, he averages 24.30 with just a half-century. A habit of getting sacked on the power play limited his production; Surprisingly, his innings in Antigua on Saturday was the first time he has broken 10th since June 2022.

“When someone is at their best, they are aggressive and intelligent,” he said. “They go together; they have to go together if you want to be successful in white-ball cricket.

“I know I could have gotten more runs. I think, for me, the question is how to reduce the strike rate and increase the average… by lengthening my innings and extending the partnerships. Those are two of the most important things in the cricket for over 50s.”

The ODI series against Australia in September was Salt’s first taste of 50-over cricket since the tour of the Caribbean in December last year. With the Hundred being played at the same time as the One-Day Cup during the English summer, many of England’s new generation of white players have little List A experience, and Salt explains the difficulty of re-adapting to the required pace.

“I don’t think there are many players in this team that you can walk past and say ‘oh, they’re doing a great job at the moment’. That’s the reality because we haven’t played much 50-over cricket.

“I would love something like a national over-50 competition. I would love to have the opportunity to play in that so you can get the rhythm and it’s not always stop and start. But that’s what we have. As a player, I have to adapt.”

2024 NFL Trade Deadline Grades Tracker: Ravens land Diontae Johnson, Chiefs add DeAndre Hopkins, more

0

The 2024 NFL industry deadline is hours away, as teams still have a week to organize strikes before the 4 pm ET deadline on Tuesday, November 5. So far, the league has been very competitive in getting players through. to the deadline.

The market for big receivers has been booming. Diontae Johnson was once the original to be traded, following the offer of DeAndre Hopkins, Amari Cooper and Davante Adams. No doubt more deals are coming in the coming days.

We will then be able to analyze each and every industry that came into play before the deadline passes.

The Cardinals go up to protect and beat the Broncos’ LB Browning

  • Cardinals win: Baron Browning
  • The Broncos win: sixth round pick

Arizona adds to its defensive front. He had already lost BJ Ojulari and Dennis Gardeck to season-ending injuries. Something had to be done at the crossbar if the Cards want to secure their lead in the NFC West. Dante Stills’ defense currently leads Arizona in sacks with 3.5 quarterback takedowns.

Grades: Cardinals B+, Broncos B- (Complete industrial degrees)

The Vikings get the alternative to Christian Darrisaw

  • The Vikings win: Cam Robinson, 2026 conditional seventh-round pick
  • Jaguars win: 2026 conditional fifth-round pick (can become fourth)

The veteran left’s move fills an instant need for the Vikings, who lost Christian Darrisaw to a season-ending knee injury. It is considered an apartment acquisition, as Robinson is scheduled to become a sovereign company in 2025.

Grades: Vikings B+, Jaguars B (Complete industrial degrees)

Ravens acquire former Pro Bowl wide receiver

The former Pittsburgh Steelers Professional Bowl wide receiver is returning to the AFC North. Speaking of the Steelers, the Ravens will have been forced to sign Johnson and then watch Pittsburgh move a full game ahead of them in the AFC North standings following Monday night’s win over the York Giants. used.

In Johnson, Baltimore will get a 28-year-old wide receiver who has the privilege of being the team’s Reject. 1 wide receiver. In the months when he throws off the occasional crossover, Johnson has proven to be a fertile player who can handle unseen problems that arise in an offense. Baltimore is certainly banking on Johnson playing alongside Lamar Jackson, Derrick Henry and fellow receivers Zay Vegetation and Rashod Bateman this season.

Johnson enters the general year of an extension he signed during his week in Pittsburgh. Carolina obviously wasn’t planning on raising him, so they decided to get something (even if it’s a miniature return) now instead of leaving him and getting nothing in return this offseason. The Panthers were so motivated to join Johnson that they will reportedly pay the maximum of Johnson’s salary gap.

Grades: Ravens A, Panthers D (Complete industrial degrees)

Chiefs get edge rusher

The Kansas Town Chiefs are interested in becoming the first team in the past Super Bowl (since 1966) to achieve three titles as NFL champions. They have a particular defensive flaw (changing quarterback pressures into sacks) and that’s why they addressed it. His 38.9% quarterback power is sixth-most in the NFL, but his 15.0 sacks this season are pegged for seventh-lowest in the NFL, as his 6.1% sack rate It is the eleventh worst in the league.

Uche’s 20.5 sacks since arriving in the NFL in 2020 rank second-most in unused England, behind former Patriot Matt Judon’s 32.0 that week. He likely came out with a career-high 11.5 in 2022, but since then he hasn’t recorded more than three sacks in any other year of his five-year career. Uche already has two this season. His two sacks now rank as a solution for the fourth-most in Kansas Town and his 13 quarterback pressures stand alone because the fourth-most along with the Chiefs rush. Uche, the Patriots’ second-round pick in 2020, is an apartment and enjoys a one-year, $3 million commitment, but a sixth-round pick is a small price to pay for back-to-back Super Bowl champions.

At 2-6, the unused England Patriots need every option they can get as their rebuild around 2024: 0.33 overall pick quarterback Drake Maye. It might have been great for them to get the next variety, but they might as well get the rest for Uche since he wouldn’t have been on the team that year anyway.

Grades: Chiefs B, Patriots C+ (Complete industrial degrees)

  • Bosses win: Deandre Hopkins
  • The titans win: Conditional 2025 fifth-round pick (can transform a fourth-round pick)

Kansas Town was in desperate need of adding a big receiver after losing Hollywood Brown and Rashee Rice during the year. Hopkins comes in and offers Patrick Mahomes a turndown. 1 great receiver with Rice out and Brown returning at some point this year.

The business is smart from Tennessee’s point of view, as they are 1-5 on the season in industry week and Hopkins was in the final year of his business. With the 32-year-old out of the team’s schedule for rebuilding his flow, it was a logical step to get some belongings for him before leaving in sovereign company.

Grades: B+ Bosses, C+ Titans (Complete industrial degrees)

Titans and Seahawks change linebackers

The Titans and Seahawks were active at this deadline, as evidenced by the multiple trades they made. Seattle paid a high price for Jones, as the Seahawks expect him to transfer more production than Baker.

Jones’ trade gave Tennessee another mid-round pick, while also landing a fertile linebacker in Baker, who, like Jones, could still be in his prime.

Grades: Seahawks A-, Titans B (Complete industrial degrees)

  • Planes win: Davante Adams
  • The raiders win: Conditional 2025 third-round pick (can transform a second-round pick based on efficiency)

The return to his hometown didn’t go the way Adams expected, so the former All-Pro wide receiver reunites with Rodgers in Unutilized York. The Jets are determined to win, as Adams is part of their “all-in” technique.

The Raiders are in the process of rebuilding and don’t have a long-term answer at quarterback. This was once the best thing for the Raiders and Adams.

Grades: Jets B-, Raiders A- (Complete industrial degrees)

The expenses get a rejection. 1 WR

  • Expense profit: Amari Cooper, 2025 sixth-round pick
  • The browns win: 2025 third-round pick, 2026 seventh-round pick

Costes’ offense was gifted without Cooper, but it wasn’t clear that Josh Allen needed a Refuse. 1 great receiver to fulfill to reach the Super Bowl. Cooper will be more of a shakedown with Buffalo as their top outdoor option, as the Bills hope he makes the same midseason impact as he did with the Cowboys in 2018.

The Browns appear to be a lost cause in 2024, especially since Cooper changed his commitment and will be a sovereign agent this year. It’s better to get something for Cooper than nothing.

Grades: Expenses A-, Brown B (Complete industrial degrees)

The first teal of the industry’s deadline season was minor, but the Jaguars were somewhat merchants. Robertson-Harris was in his 0.33 season with the Jaguars and actually signed a three-year, $30 million extension last year and then recorded a career-high 3.5 inside sacks in 2023.

Robinson-Harris provides the necessary intensity in Seattle’s defense and will advance to the outside of the series. The Jaguars lost salary.

Grades: Seahawks B-, Jaguars C+ (Complete industrial degrees)

Fantasy Basketball Waiver Wire Pickups: Gradey Dick and Tari Eason Stand Out

0

The willingness to entertain during the few places on your gambling list can be rewarding. When selecting this fluid collective of statistical members, it is useful to imagine players from the end of the bench in direct festival with the ability to float in isolated company.

The goal of this weekly layout is to spot players in all available spots in isolated company in ESPN leagues. Some are experts capable of helping in one or two sections, while others offer more varied and notable statistical options. In the breakdowns below, I’ve indexed players across the board for priority, rather than roster participation, in ESPN men’s basketball leagues.

defend level

Scotty Pippen Jr., Memphis Grizzlies (registered in 36.0% of ESPN leagues): Ranked sixth overall in assists, Pippen has carved out a notable starting position within Memphis’ rotation. Top support leaders are high-usage stars who are professional offensive engines, making Pippen’s rise unique and reliable in a false context, as he’ll find a talented passer for the price of a roster spot. With Memphis thin on defense outside of its playmaking duo, Pippen is expected to maintain a heavy position.

Tre Mann, Charlotte Hornets (34.4%): Not only did Mann enter the season with a fun unused hairstyle, he obviously earned consideration from the unused training squad, given a slow rotation role as a complementary playmaker later to LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller. Mann, capable of doing a little bit of everything, is becoming Malik Monk 2.0 in Charlotte.

José Alvarado, Pristine Pelicans of Orleans (13.8%): The Pelicans are facing an almost unprecedented influx of injuries affecting players. CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray, Trey Murphy III and Herbert Jones are dealing with their respective injuries in various games. With so many key players out, Alvarado should be a major source of assists and steals as a starter in the interim period.

capture defend

Gradey Dick, SF, Toronto Raptors (47.8%): Friends with Kyrie Irving and Devin Booker in made 3-pointers this season, Dick’s second-year marketing campaign is off to a stellar start. The fighters are already chasing him around a group of monitors, at which point Dick is also able to put the ball on the ground when attacking a closeout. Is Dick moving to pop incessantly for 20+ numbers on maximum nights? He looks bold, but he’s becoming an elite specialist on a team that was once desperate for space.

Christian Braun, Denver Nuggets (32.4%): A competitive Rudy Gobert posterization of Braun stirs up some drama in a contemporary loss to the rival Timberwolves. The outing also signaled a bravery that has proven rewarding for Braun in field ratings this season.

Jordan Hawkins, Pristine Orleans Pelicans (14.9%): Joining Cade Cunningham and Tyler Herro in 3-pointers made in his younger season, Hawkins likes to explode from deep. If Alvarado is more of a natural level defender, Hawkins is a great player. The field is low, but some fun scoring nights will materialize given the team’s need for things.

little ahead

Deni Avdija, PF, Portland Path Blazers (54.2%): Avdija, one of my preseason favorites, does just enough of everything to expose himself as a useful lie-in option. The scoring and number could increase if or when the team deals with some veteran starters in the frontcourt. Even without an adjustment, there are few forwards matched with Avdija’s combination of passing, defense and rebounding skills.

Tari Eason, Houston Rockets (10.5%): The theme on the wing at this speed is glue guys, players who reserve a combined team on both ends of the floor and sometimes both sides. Eason is up to the task because he doesn’t want the ball to hurt, but he can also do it when asked. Scoring explosions don’t seem to be new, but his ability to generate excellent defensive charges as a bulldog for Ime Udoka has already proven to be reliable.

Ochai Agbaji, SG, Toronto Raptors (16.0%): The Raptors may not be finding superstars at a high rate, but they certainly do so by finding two-way wings and gritty position players at an unusual rate. Agbaji continues this theme with his arrival as a heavy full-back in the playground of an ailing Scottie Barnes. With stellar defensive loads and freedom to look for surrenders, he appears capable of maintaining notable numbers while Barnes recovers.

Energy ahead

John Collins, Utah Jazz (57.4%): Forgotten to some extent in a fairly directionless franchise (for now) in a deep convention, Collins is actually playing successfully for the Jazz moment by keeping an opponent and a thief in line in the Utah matchup. The ceiling he once envisioned in his early days in Atlanta is likely no longer achievable, but a strong season could still be extended.

Santi Aldama, C, Memphis Grizzlies (45.4%): There is a rift brewing with this younger forward in Memphis. Aldama is on the verge of averaging a double-double and, like Pippen, has earned a real and rewarding spot in the team’s rotation.

Jeremy Sochan, San Antonio Spurs (39.8%): Maybe it was necessary to release the ball from Sochan’s arms to help him become the glue man we always hoped for? Running as an off-ball warning on all sides of the ball has led to a couple of really fun and varied productions from this unique player.

Heart

Brook Lopez, Milwaukee dollars (68.8%): There aren’t many issues or rebounds coming from this aging pivot, but the league leader’s opposition to possible and safe minutes as a fixture on a team that needs his internal presence must be cruel, he is included in almost every single structures.

Alexandre Sarr, PF, Washington Wizards (25.6%): There was a loud reaction, understandably, to Sarr’s wildly ineffective offensive performance in the Summer League. There’s a much quieter hum that Sarr’s arrival emits as important anticipation of rim coverage. He’s second-best to Chet Holmgren in opposing involvement, and yet he’s largely overlooked despite being a notable skill on a team determined to give him enough opportunities.

Private groups

This division specializes in experts, players who shine in a different division and will give them specific value in division and roto codecs. Nominations depend on which division these players are useful in and can rotate throughout the season.

3 points: The clear name is Boston’s Payton Pritchard (31.1%), who has somehow made it to barely a half-hour matchup for a team that simply has the ability to push deep into the rotation amid big leads. Pritchard shoots with space and confidence, suggesting he could stay as a representative.

Thefts: The Path Blazers are getting excellent thief production from a wing with a fabulous name. In disagreement, it is not Matisse Thybulle, but Toumani Camara (5.8%), who ranks fifth in Player Rater in value added in terms of steals.

Blocks: Sarr is the superstar in this regard, as he ranks fifth in added value behind the best Holmgren, Victor Wembanyama, Walker Kessler and Lopez in added value in terms of hitting.

Rebounds: Andre Drummond (22.9%) could get a modest additional run as a playmaking center if Joel Embiid faces any suspension stemming from the weekend. When given power, Drummond deserves extra consideration.

Assists: Pippen and Alvarado are two splendid additions to this stat, and Pippen has lasting value and upside.

Saquon Barkley’s reverse hurdle leaves Eagles ‘speechless’

0

“It was the best play I’ve ever seen in my life,” said Sirianni. “What I think is cool is that there will be kids all over the country and all over Philadelphia trying to make that play and talking about that play and simulating that play while they’re playing backyard football or pee-pee football. They’re not going to be able to do it; I think he is the only one in the world who can do it.

With the Eagles going through a third-and-6 early in the second quarter, Barkley took a snap from Jalen Hurts inside the flat, needed a take, and then gave a spin to Devin Lloyd that had Lloyd greedy in the breeze as he fell to the outfield. Barkley was just warming up. He then took a step so that his back was facing cornerback Jarrian Jones, widened and blindly jumped to Jones for the final five yards in what turned out to be a 14-yard gain.

The lovers present stood up and began to look at each other in an atmosphere of trauma.

“I have to give God credit, man. I’m not going to lie… I feel like God gave me the ability to play this position and gave me some instincts. Sometimes you have to let go and let God and your instincts take over “Barkley mentioned.

This wasn’t Barkley’s first time on this trip — he jumped back on an Iowa defender as a sophomore at Penn Atmosphere — but he said one “wasn’t that cool.” This one was once off the charts.

“Crazy,” receiver DeVonta Smith said. “I’ve never seen anything like it.”

Barkley finished the game with 199 yards from scrimmage and two touchdowns. He is only the second player in Eagles history to report more than 1,000 yards from scrimmage and more than eight touchdowns in eight games, joining LeSean McCoy, who was inducted into the Eagles’ Hall of State on Sunday.

Barkley wasn’t the only Eagle who dazzled against Jacksonville. With AJ Brown sidelined by a bruised knee suffered late in the first, Smith took advantage of the time and made a great one-handed catch in the back of the end zone for a 25-yard touchdown at midfield. of the last quarter that ended up being the most of the game.

Sirianni had a negative replacement due to the condition of Brown, who did not play games in the second half.

“It’s always difficult when he goes down because he’s a very dynamic player, a very important part of this team and this offense,” Smith said. “If he goes down, I feel like I have to step up. For me, I’m always up for the challenge.”

Fellow receiver Jahan Dotson had a circus catch, outrunning a defender and throwing the ball toward himself early in the third quarter for a 36-yard pass down the left sideline.

“I feel like there were three plays in that game: Dotson, Smitty and Saquon, plays that just make you say, ‘Wow, this is why I love watching football,'” Lane Johnson mentioned.

Five bold trade predictions ahead of 2024 NFL deadline: Steelers and Vikings make eye-catching additions

0

ET on Tuesday to finalize last-minute trades, or else they will have to wait until the 2025 offseason to pursue veteran trades. So which golf teams could change their lineups midseason? Right here, we’ve been given five bold predictions for the trade deadline:

1. The Steelers get an impeccable offensive weapon

The Steelers are undefeated in near misses in the industry’s big receiver market this year. On the other hand, at 32 years old, Lockett wouldn’t necessarily need a big haul, especially with the Seattle Seahawks already having two young studs in place in DK Metcalf and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. His history with impeccable Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson would make him a smart fit for Disagree. 1 George Pickens.

2. Lions brace themselves and rush

For weeks, the Cleveland Browns’ Za’Darius Smith has been described by Motown as a logical, if not possible, acquisition to help fill the void left by the injured Aidan Hutchinson. What if some other contender swoops in and says pro bowler? Jordan would meet to receive a useful comfort award. Despite his strong ties to the Unused Orleans Saints, the veteran running back could be present amid the team’s training exchange.

3. The Vikings reinforce the defensive design

Vikings general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah has already made two trades, reuniting with Cam Akers and adding Cam Robinson as a disaster replacement for the injured Christian Darrisaw. Neither trip costs much, on the other hand, and Minnesota is more in the thick of the NFC North race. Simmons would be a huge upgrade to Brian Flores’ already struggling defensive tackle, and it wouldn’t hurt long-term plans either.

4. Falcons add second confirmed edge rusher

  • Browns send Za’Darius Smith to Atlanta

The Falcons already added a veteran running back earlier this year in Matthew Judon, but who’s to say they’re happy, especially with Kirk Cousins and company in the mix for an NFC South crown? Smith is just as appealing an apartment running back, and pristine schoolteacher Raheem Morris is enjoying temporarily integrating a confirmed outside linebacker, largely turning Von Miller’s 2021 business with the Los Angeles Rams into a hoop.

5. Eagles send competent running back to Patriots

The Philadelphia Eagles just signed Huff to a three-year, $51 million deal this spring, but the former York Jets unused player has commanded a notoriously minimal position in Vic Fangio’s running rotation. With others like Josh Sweat and Nolan Smith doing better in recent years, general manager Howie Roseman might prefer to dump Huff’s inflated offer to Unused England, which simply sold Josh Uche in the same spot.

Stardew Valley’s latest update adds a new friend to retrieve lost items and more

0

It’s been seven months since Stardew Valley’s immense 1.6 update was released, and developer Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone continues to introduce new features and cures to the beloved simulator of the agricultural past; and that continues with the current update 1.6.9, released along with 1.6 for consoles, which, among other things, offers a new friend to recover lost pieces.

More specifically, once Stardew Valley update 1.6.9 is installed, players who have unlocked and then lost a new item will find a special store that now materializes in invisible logs in the dark. Parts that cannot be reobtained in any other way can be purchased here for 10,000g and Barone notes that anyone can purchase lost parts in multiplayer.

Elsewhere, players can now place mythical fish in fish ponds, albeit with a ban of 1 per pond. These will then craft Mythical Fish Roe with fish that has a unique H2O color. There are also new Easter eggs, discussion settings, JojoMart painting portraits for Sam and Shane, and the ability to park beds and peace in any built development (as long as they allow furniture). Additionally, devices dropped into H2O now float, meaning there is a step back to recover them.

Whether or not it is necessary for Stardew Valley updates to be visible; Barone hasn’t shared his plans for the farming sim beyond version 1.6 of his console, but until now he admitted that he had been so “committed to finishing Stardew 1.6” that he hadn’t done any supporting work on its next version. sport, Haunted Chocolatier, “in a long time.” So chances are you don’t expect information about it anytime soon.

Arsenal: Edu leaves the position of sporting director of the club

0

Edu has resigned from his position as Arsenal’s dressing director.

The Brazilian rejoined the Gunners as technical director in the summer of 2019 before being promoted to clothing director in November 2022.

Edu, 46, played for Arsenal between 2001 and 2005 and won two league titles, one of them as part of the ‘Invincibles’ team of 2003-04.

“It was an incredibly difficult decision to make,” Edu said Monday.

“Now is the time to face a different challenge. Arsenal will always be in my heart. I wish the club and its fans only good things and all the best.”

The former midfielder was keen to bring manager Mikel Arteta to the club, and Arsenal won the FA Cup at the end of Arteta’s first season in charge.

Year after year, major titles have eluded them since, operating alongside the Spaniard, Edu has been widely credited with helping the club once again become true identity challengers.

Edu added: “Arsenal have given me the opportunity to work with so many incredible people and the chance to be part of something so special in the club’s history.

“I have loved working with many great teammates across our men’s, women’s and academy teams, especially Mikel who has become a great friend.”

Arsenal finished the previous two campaigns as Premier League runners-up behind champions Manchester City.

Captain Martin Odegaard, Ben White, Gabriel, Gabriel Jesus and Declan Rice all arrived and became key players during Edu’s tenure, although the recruitment of players such as David Luiz and Willian had less impact.
