The Pittsburgh Steelers have a notable visitor on Thursday, the first full day of NFL free agency. The Steelers will meet with the Nine Time Fullback of Pro Bowl Kyle Juszczyk, who was recently released by the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN.
Juszczyk, 33, has been appointed for the Pro Bowl every season since 2016, which was his last year with the Baltimore Ravens, who selected him in the fourth round in the NFL Draft 2013. Juszczyk was a professional bowling player in each of his eight seasons with the 49ers, who enjoyed considerable success during Jusczyk’s time with the franchise. Juszczyk helped San Francisco win the NFC title in 2019 and again in 2023.
While the fullback position is dying, Juszczyk, a 12 -year -old veteran who has played in more than 200 race games, has shown that the position can still have value in today’s NFL. He is a versatile player who can contribute as a blocker, receiver and corridor.
Juszczyk would be a good adjustment within the offensive scheme of the Steelers coordinator, Arthur Smith, who is based on running the ball while enrolling the ball in the field. The Steelers are currently in the process of rebuilding their rear field after the corridor Najee Harris and Field Marshal Justin Fields went through free agency. Pittsburgh did the Jaylen Warren corridor, signed the former Eagles Kenneth Gainwell corridor during the free agency and is expected to write a corridor next month.
With regard to Quarterback, the Steelers recently signed the Mason Mason Rudolph and continue in the mixture to sign Aaron Rodgers if Rodgers decides to continue their career in 2025.
