2XKO will have an offline mode with all champions unlocked, intended to support tournament organizers

2xko will have an off -line mode with all unlocked playable champions, it has been revealed. This is to support the organizers of the base tournament anxious to execute events throughout the game, but they are not exactly delighted with the idea of having to eliminate all champions in multiple accounts.

Revealed during a 2xko community tour in France earlier this month in a group of group questions and answers, 2xko executive producer, Tom Cannon, initially reflected on how much should he say on the matter, before exclaiming “yes, why not” and spill beans in the mode.

“I know it may be a pain to establish a lot of configurations during a tournament. We do not want that really difficult. We want you to run a tournament without the Internet, without having to jump through a lot of hoops to unlock a lot of champions.”

“So this is what we are going to do. You will be able to play this game offline, I hope it is not a spoiler (laughs). Point.”

“We want to continue supporting base tournaments, so we want to know how it is going and what characteristics they will help.”

This, for the few selected who organize competition -centered fighting events, is potentially a massive victory. A fighting game always online would inevitably run into significant obstacles in that space. The organizers of the tournament would not only have to make sure that the place has a stable internet, but probably has to pay substantial rates to use this internet for several days. In addition, not having to grind a new character in dozens of separate 2xko accounts is a life savings for the organizers of the tournament, which would otherwise have to manually unlock the new content so that the game is competitive.

What is not yet clear after this revelation is how this mode would interact with Vanguard Anti -che, Riot game, always online, anti-treatment. Vanguard, which is executed at the time your computer starts with access to the core level, cannot be disabled while Riot Games titles are executed for League of Legends, Valorant, etc. As such, an off -line tournament mode in the online tournament mode with the planned purpose of Vanguard, assuming that this off -line mode begins through the Mithy game pitcher as the 2xko Alpha Lab launch.

We communicate with Riot Games for a monitoring question about this, and we still do not receive an answer when publishing this article.

However, it is a great feature for the inevitable hardcore community for the game, ready to travel to real world events to try their temper against other players. If I can add some personal editorialization here, I would not expect such mode to be widely available for the average player. 2xko, as a free game, needs to generate income from your community obviously. Wait for this off -line mode to be a fairly exclusive offer, so certified tournament corridors.

However, we will have to delay and wait for more updates about this offline and more. What do you think out of line? Let us know below!
