🌙 Moon Crashers — Best Co-Op Comedy Game of the Month

Launched July 27, 2026 — Available now on Steam — 40% launch discount until August 3
Moon Crashers launched this week from Italian indie studio Castello Inc — and at $4.79 during the launch discount window, it might be the best value co-op game on Steam right now.
In Moon Crashers, you and up to three friends crash-land on the lunar surface with nothing but your spacesuits and must improvise a way back to Earth. Player’s scramble across a deadly playground of craters and canyons, scavenge ship scrap and rare materials, uncover hidden lunar locations, and weld together a rocket sturdy enough to fly home.
The low gravity physics turn every moon buggy ride into controlled chaos. One bad weld on your rocket and the whole thing becomes the galaxy’s biggest firework. It’s exactly the kind of game that makes a Discord group lose their minds at 2 am.
The game is now available worldwide for PC with a 40% launch discount that drops the price to just $4.79 until August 3, 2026. After that it goes back to $7.99 — still cheap but act fast if you want maximum value.
Best for: Co-op friend groups, Lethal Company fans, anyone who wants chaos on the moon

🌾 Fields of Mistria 1.0 — Best Full Release of August

Launching August 5, 2026 — Available on Steam
This is the big one for cozy gaming fans. NPC Studio announced that its farming sim Fields of Mistria will fully release for PC on August 5, 2026 — exactly two years after its Early Access launch on August 5, 2024.
The 1.0 update fully adds marriage and children, with 10 proposals and wedding events for romanceable NPCs, more dungeons, quests, NPC requests, museum sets, skill perks, furniture, decor, and mount skins. The official storyline of repairing the town will also be fully completable.
And there’s a giant chicken mount. That’s all you need to know.
Fields of Mistria has been the farming sim community’s best-kept secret during Early Access. Like Stardew Valley, Fields of Mistria is a farm sim RPG inspired by 90s classics such as Harvest Moon, with SNES-coded palette and art style, and character design inspired by 80s and 90s anime and JRPGs. The 1.0 launch brings it to a full, completable state for the first time — and the new marriage and children system is what the community has been waiting for.
Best for: Stardew Valley fans, cozy gaming fans, anyone who played Harvest Moon growing up

♟️ Order Automatica — Best Tactical Roguelike Coming in September

Launching September 4, 2026 — Wishlist on Steam
Order Automatica doesn’t launch until September 4 — but it’s worth knowing about now because the competition on search is essentially zero and early content ranks fast for this kind of game.
Order Automatica is a dark tactical roguelite where automated battles are won before they even begin. Build deadly synergies on a small 3×3 ritual grid, position your units carefully, manipulate tiles, and prepare for brutal encounters against demonic enemies.
The description — “like chess with demons” — is doing exactly the right amount of work. If you enjoy auto-battlers, deckbuilders, or Slay the Spire-style strategic pre-planning, Order Automatica is the September release to watch.
Best for: Tactical roguelike fans, auto-battler players, Slay the Spire veterans
