The great Blizzard convention, Blizzcon, is omitting 2025, but will return with full force next year.
Fans expected Blizzcon to return by 2025, the twentieth anniversary of the event, after it is not executed in 2024. In fact, the fact that there will not be a 2025 convention also means that Blizzcon will miss two years in the trot, the first time he has done so since its foundation in 2005.
Even so, plans are underway for Blizzcon to return correctly in 2026, with dates established for Saturday 12 and Sunday, September 13 at Anaheim’s Convention Center in California.
“Blizzcon has been a cornerstone of Blizzard’s history since 2005, which allows us to connect with our community and our players directly,” the company wrote in a statement today. “By 2026, together with the basic foods of Blizzcon such as the opening ceremony, the in -depth panels, the dark fair, the friendly competition, the practical game and more, our goal is to significantly raise this iconic celebration and create an unforgettable experience.
“We are building this event as we build our games: with a deep commitment to our players, regarding the connections of our players with our universes and as a celebration of the strength of the ties formed through the shared adventure.”
It was not mentioned why the event was omitting 2025, although we have asked Blizzard about any other plan for this year.
