It is sure to say that Drake and Demar Droan, once friends, when the Sacramento Kings striker played for the Raptors Toronto de Drake’s Hometown, now, well, the opposite of friends. The Canadian rapper put that in a clear and obvious exhibition again on Sunday, increasing a Drozan Raptors shirt that was thrown while acting in Sydney, Australia.
The Kings, the current Derozan team, had a lot of fun with that reaction.
Derozan is in its first year with the Kings. He began his career in Toronto and played nine seasons there, accumulating four appearances at All-Star. He is the leader of all the franchise time in several categories, including points and games, and is generally a loved figure in the city.
However, “generally loved” does not apply to Drake’s vision of Droan. Originally from Compton, California, put on the side of the sensation of the hometown Kendrick Lamar last summer during beef with Drake. Drozan danced on stage with Lamar and even appeared in the music video of Lamar’s song “Not Like Us”, a DISS song aimed at Drake who won five Grammy awards, including the song of the year.

And a week after Grammy won, Lamar performed the song during the Super Bowl Part -time show, with a good number of 65,000 attendees singing. One of the letters specifically mentions Derozan who returns to California: “I’m glad that Deroz came home. They didn’t deserve it, either.”
In November, Drake said that if the Raptors removed Derozan’s shirt, he would tear it down. In his response, Derozan sarcastically wanted Drake Luck.
