The Philadelphia Eagles have an open new receiver, which accepts terms with the former open receiver of the Raiders of Carolina and Los Vegas Raiders, Marshall Jr., in a one -year contract, by NFL media.
Marshall, a second round of LSU in 2021, spent the first three years of his career with Carolina. Totalized 64 trapped for 767 yards and only one score, surpassing with a reception line of 28 captures for 490 yards and the lonely TouchDown in 2022.
The Panthers released him after the training camp last season, after which he signed with the San Francisco 49ers practice team. The Niners kept him in the practice team from August to October, at which time he was released after not appearing in a game for San Francisco. The Raiders signed it with their own practice team a week later.
It was elevated to the active list on two different occasions before being signed for the rest of the season. It appeared in seven games for the Raiders, playing 140 offensive snapshots, but totaled only three trapped for 41 yards in six goals.
Marshall now joins a list of the Eagles that has AJ Brown and Devonta Smith on the depth table, with Jahan Dotson and the 2024 selections Johnny Wilson and Ainias Smith behind them. Given the scarcity of its impact to date, Marshall is likely to be there to complete the equipment’s depth and maybe try to make the equipment in the training camp.
It would be quite surprising if I had forged a role of any real meaning, especially given the heavy inclination of the Eagles and the strong concentration of opportunities for their objectives of the best games.
