Excited for the past days of PS5 Remaster, but it only has the PS4 version through PS Plus? Some bad news awaits you

Sony announced that a PS5 Reaster is on its way for days past, only with a little hooks for those who possess it through PS Plus.

At some point on the way, I could not tell you when because Sony gives literally free games every month with PS Plus, Days Gone was one of the monthly titles, so anyone who claimed him at that time will now have him in his library. I am sure that many of you who obtained it in that way would have been quite satisfied with the news last week that a PS5 remaster spend $ 10 to update. That is fine and Dandy, except for the fact that this update route is only available to those who have really paid for the physical or digital copy of the game, and not for those who obtained it through PS Plus.

This is courtesy of the small print in a Bent Studio post explaining how you can update your copy of the game for only $ 10, explaining that “the resumption of the PS4 game through PlayStation Plus are not eligible for the update.” It feels like a strange choice to take, since there are probably a series of players who would have been willing to pay $ 10 for an update like this, but maybe Sony felt that they would earn more money with people buying the total remaster.

Days Gone initially launched in PS4 in 2019, and generally received quite average critics, although it generally seemed to have sold well enough. A sequel never materialized, and the Bend Studio developer even made it clear that one is not happening last year. In 2022 a film adaptation was announced, but with little shared in this regard, this Remaster could be the last time we will listen to the game.

Days Gone Remastered will leave on April 25 on PS5 and PC.
