Iron Galaxy says goodbye to 66 to protect “long -term survival”

Iron Galaxy has fired 66 developers.

In a statement published on LinkedIn, the study said that although it had made “sacrifices to keep intact teams”, “it had run out of space to maneuver in the midst of this slow recovery.”

“Today, Iron Galaxy is separating from some of our developers and support personnel. In total, we have reduced our employee base by 66 people. This was a last resort for us,” the statement said.

“It is a measure that we do not take light to enable our long -term survival.”

The team said that it was still committed to “serving our partners in the creation of games” and that “it will continue to explore new ways of supporting an industry that we love and continue working towards its continuous recovery.”

“At this time, our approach is in our teammates who have started a trip to their next role. We thank you for working with us. We will do our best to support them in the search for the next phase of their careers. Be attentive To them if you need good people.

The CEO Adam Boyes left Iron Galaxy in August after eight years with the developer.

Boyes became CEO of the study in June 2016 after having had leadership roles in PlayStation, Capcom, Midway Games and Electronic Arts.

The strip of employment cuts last year continues in 2025. In January alone, more than 700 developers have lost their work, with cuts and closures in freejam, splash damage, piranha games, jar of sparks, as well as 185 cut jobs by Ubisoft.

Today early, we reported that the members had probably initiated another round of layoffs.
