“I have experienced the emotion of qualifying for the world’s drinks as a player for Canada, and I hope to repeat that emotion with a diverse and dedicated group of players and personnel that represents Italy.”
Since he retired, he has been a coach and consultant of turnover, even with Australia, and has worked hard with people like Nathan Lyon, Mitchell Sweepson and Matt Kuhnemann.
Together with Burns, Ben and Harry Manenti have also represented Italy. It is understood that Tasmania Jake Doran and Tim Ward couple are disputed by the qualifiers through their Italian heritage, although they are still waiting for approval to play. Matthew Fotia, a former Quick Victoria, and Jason Ralston, who appeared for Australia U19, are also in the mixture.
