Leon Bailey Set for AS Roma Move – Agreement Reached with Aston Villa

Jamaican winger Leon Bailey is on the verge of joining AS Roma after the Italian club reached a verbal agreement with Aston Villa. According to Fabrizio Romano, the deal will be structured as a loan worth €2–3 million, with an option to buy for €22 million.

Bailey, who made it clear that Roma was his top priority, has been pushing for this transfer. The agreement is now in principle, with only medical authorization pending before the move becomes official.

For Roma, this signing could add much-needed pace and creativity on the wings, while Bailey gets the chance for a fresh chapter in Serie A under the iconic atmosphere of the Stadio Olimpico.

If finalized, the move would represent a major coup for the Giallorossi as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign.
