PlayStation has announced plans to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the God’s franchise of war.
The celebration will include a new content in the game for God of War Ragnarok, New Mercandise and an exhibition of physical art.
Ragnarok war players will be able to claim the new Free Dark Odyssey collection on March 20.
“Inspired by the work name of God of War (2005) and the skin that originally appeared in God of War II as a reward for overcoming the game in the difficulty of the God mode, we are bringing the classic black and golden theme for the 20th anniversary,” says a blog post by Sony Santa Monica.
The cosmetic package includes a skin for kratos, Domen and Freya, as well as new cosmetics for kratos.
From Saturday, March 15, until Sunday, March 23, fans can visit a special exhibition of the 20th anniversary of God of War in the core of the gallery in Los Angeles, California.
“With a collection of new works of art inspired by the last twenty years of God of War, including current and previous study developers of Santa Monica, the conceptual art of the unique games and memories: this exhibition is a legacy celebration through art.”
A new retrospective book of the 20th anniversary has also been announced. The book, which will present interviews with the developers of the franchise throughout its 20 years of history, will be published at the end of this year. A printed Cook and Becker collection will also be released later in 2025.
More merchandise was also announced, including a vinyl collection, new clothes and Jörmungand Plush.

God of War Ragnarok was added to PlayStation Plus in January.
That same month, it was reported that Sony canceled two live -announced live service playstation games, one of which is believed to be a game of God of war.
