Niantic has said that Pokémon Go Fest Los Angeles will continue as planned, but will offer all players who have bought tickets for the event a refund without questions following the fires last month.
Last month, the devastating forest fires devastated large parts of Los Angeles, California. Now, Niantic has said that he will offer reimbursements to all players who can no longer attend their EV event. Players can receive $ 30 reimbursement if they run before February 23.
The real -life event, which sees players who have access to Pokémon and special missions in a specific area, will take place mainly at the Rose Bowl Stadium and Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. Players will also have access to missions throughout the city in the largest area in Los Angeles.
“Our team has been observing the situation in Los Angeles and prioritizing the security and welfare of Pasadena, the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area and our Pokémon GO community,” Niantic said in a statement.
“In association with the Rose Bowl operational company and local authorities, we have made the decision to continue celebrating the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova Los Angeles Experience.”
