The closed wing Juwan Johnson agreed a three -year contract to sign with the New Orleans Saints, AJ Vaynerchuk agent announced on social networks on Tuesday.
Johnson, 28, had a foot problem last summer that required surgery and made him lose most of the training camp with the Saints. He returned to the beginning of the season and played the 17 games, catching 50 passes from his career and three touchdowns.
Johnson signed with New Orleans as an open 2020 rookie -rookie agent receptor outside of Oregon. The former Saints coach Sean Payton made the decision to change it to the wing closed in 2021 after Johnson caught only four passes as a rookie container.
In 2022, he caught 42 passes for 508 yards and seven Touchdowns of the Andy Dalton Marshal. Johnson’s seven touchdowns led the team that season and signed an extension of two years before the 2023 season.
Johnson has 146 career receptions for 1,622 yards and 18 touchdowns in five seasons.
