Capcom announced 1 million for first prize
Capcom has announced that the first-place prize for the next Capcom Cup will be $1 million. This will be the first Capcom Cup tournament to feature Street Fighter 6.

Capcom Pro Tour 2023 has been announced: Street Fighter 6. The prize pool is $2 million. First prize is a 1 million USD.

The next Pro Tour, which will consist of numerous qualification events around the world, will culminate in Capcom Cup X, with its large prize, according to a tweet posted on the official Street Fighter Twitter account.

"The winner of Capcom Cup X will receive a whopping $1,000,000," the tweet reads, adding, "Who wants to be a millionaire?"

The prize money was announced over the weekend at Capcom Cup IX, where it was also revealed that the total prize fund will be more than $2 million.

The next Capcom Pro Tour and Capcom Cup X will highlight Street Fighter 6 as the major game for the first time.

Street Fighter 6 will be available on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam on June 2.

One of the game's more remarkable new features is the World Tour mode, which allows players to create their own character, explore a number of open-world locales, and pick up moves from existing Street Fighter characters.

The Year 1 Character Pass, which comes with four additional characters, four additional character colors, and 4200 Drive Tickets, is included in the Deluxe Edition. The Ultimate Edition will include a Year 1 Ultimate Pass, which will include an additional eight character colors and 3500 Drive Tickets.

Capcom confirmed the full Street Fighter 6 roster late last year, which includes all eight original 'World Warriors' from Street Fighter II.
