Mortal Kombat 12 Leak Reveals Ambitious Launch Projections by Warner Bros

Warner Bros. has confirmed that Mortal Kombat 12 will be released in 2023, following the success of Mortal Kombat 11. While the announcement was made during a financial call, no official trailer or statement has been released by NetherRealm or Warner Bros. Games. However, Ed Boon, the chief of NetherRealm, has hinted at the return of some of the series' 3D-era characters.

The confirmation of Mortal Kombat 12 rules out Injustice 3 as NetherRealm's next game, though it may still be in the works. The leak also coincided with Capcom unveiling the final three characters joining Street Fighter 6's launch roster during Sony's State of Play presentation.

The news about Mortal Kombat 12 has been widely spread across the fighting game community and the internet, and Boon himself responded to the leak on Twitter with a joke about Injustice 3. It is not surprising to see a major video game leaked before its official announcement, but it is interesting to see someone from the developer's parent company slip up in this fashion.

Fans of Mortal Kombat will be eagerly waiting for more information and updates on Mortal Kombat 12, which is expected to have ambitious launch projections.

Mortal Kombat 12 is set to continue the franchise's tradition of brutal, violent fighting, as the series has become known for over the years. With each new game, the developers at NetherRealm Studios push the envelope even further in terms of the levels of gore and over-the-top violence.

While we don't know much about the game just yet, we can expect that Mortal Kombat 12 will feature a range of returning characters as well as some new faces. Ed Boon has hinted in the past that some characters from the series' 3D-era may return, so it will be interesting to see which ones make the cut.

In addition to Mortal Kombat 12, Warner Bros. Discovery also confirmed that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will release this year. The game is being developed by Rocksteady Studios, the team behind the Batman: Arkham series.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will put players in control of a team of villains tasked with taking down the Justice League, who have been brainwashed by the evil Brainiac. The game will feature four playable characters – Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark – each with their own unique abilities and playstyle.

It's an exciting time for fighting game fans, with several highly anticipated titles on the horizon. We can't wait to see what NetherRealm Studios has in store for Mortal Kombat 12, and we're eagerly anticipating the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as well. Stay tuned for more updates as we learn more about these games in the coming months.
