Lego has teased plans to release a range of Donkey Kong sets. Following introduction of iconic character to its Super Mario universe last month. The company has confirmed Donkey Kong figure will be launched this summer, but it has not  clear whether it will be accompanied by a jungle set or something similar. 

In a recent tweet Lego says, “We can’t wait to show you the new additions to the world of Lego Super Mario!” As per the teaser video below, the Kong family, including Diddy, Cranky and Funky, will be introduced in separate sets.


Lego has been creating its own world of characters and themes since its inception in 1932. Today, it has been one of largest fan followings in the toy industry, and its range of building blocks go-to option for children and adults alike. The company’s Super Mario universe was a significant addition to its range, and the latest tease of Donkey Kong sets has created much excitement.
