Sony Drops Three New Games for PlayStation Plus Essential Members.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has released the first wave of May’s PlayStation Plus Essential games. A few 'free' games are accessible to users of the basic membership category each month. The games for this month include Descenders (PS4), Chivalry 2 (PS5, PS4), and GRID Legends (PS5, PS4). In addition, Enhance’s Humanity will be added to May’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue line-up for Extra and Premium tier subscribers.
The Essential membership tier offers subscribers access to a few ‘free’ games every month. May’s PlayStation Plus Essential games are GRID Legends, Chivalry 2, and Descenders. The first wave of games has been released, and subscribers can claim them until the end of the monthly period. After that, these games will no longer be available to claim.
However, players can continue to play these games even after they’re no longer available to claim if they continue to subscribe to PlayStation Plus Essential (or a higher tier). They won't be able to play these games after their subscription expires unless they renew.
GRID Legends is a racing game that allows players to create their own racing team and compete in a variety of events. The game features a dynamic storyline, where the player’s choices impact the narrative and the team’s success. GRID Legends is available on PS5 and PS4.
Chivalry 2 is a medieval combat game that allows players to fight in large-scale battles. There are a variety of different weapons in the game, such as swords, axes, and bows. Chivalry 2 is available on PS5 and PS4.
Descenders is a downhill mountain biking game that allows players to race down procedurally generated courses. There are many different environments in the game, such as mountains, deserts, and woods. Descenders is available on PS4.
Enhance’s Humanity will be added to May’s PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue line-up for Extra and Premium tier subscribers. The game will be available starting on May 16 and will be added to the current library of games that users can access without paying any additional fees.
