Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has set the gaming community abuzz with rumors of an upcoming PlayStation 5 console bundle. Twitter user @Zuby_Tech, known for accurately revealing previous PS5 bundles ahead of their official release, shared two images on Monday, hinting at a new PlayStation Plus bundle that might be on the horizon.

If the leaked images turn out to be genuine, Sony appears to be planning a PS5 console package that includes a 24-month subscription to PlayStation Plus Premium. This development follows SIE boss Jim Ryan's revelation last month that 30% of PlayStation Plus users have subscribed to the service's premium offerings, namely the Premium and Extra tiers introduced last summer.
As of March 2023, the number of Premium subscribers had reached an impressive eight million, accounting for 17% of total subscribers. The Extra tier had garnered 6.1 million subscribers, representing 13% of the user base. The majority, comprising 33.3 million subscribers, or 70% of the total, were signed up for the Essential tier.
In a recent announcement, Sony confirmed that it is currently testing cloud streaming for PS5 games, a highly anticipated feature that will be exclusively available to PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers upon its launch. This service will grant users access to a wide range of games from the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue and Game Trials, as well as supported digital PS5 titles they own.
Furthermore, Sony has revealed the lineup of games for the June PlayStation Plus offerings. Available this week, the catalog includes highly anticipated titles such as Far Cry 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, Tacoma, and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. In addition, players can also enjoy classics such as Killzone: Liberation, Worms, and Herc’s Adventures. Meanwhile, the PlayStation Plus Essential games for this month feature NBA 2K23, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Trek to Yomi.
