Xbox users can no longer get an Xbox Game Pass trial for £1/$1 just days before Starfield, Microsoft's most significant release of the years.
Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass registration website no longer offers the option (thanks to XGP). Simply pay the full amount for your first month as of right now.
At the beginning of August, Microsoft reduced the offer from a full month at £1/$1 to just 14 days. At the time, Eurogamer contacted Microsoft to inquire about the change but got no response.
After only being relaunched by Microsoft in July, the offer is now completely gone.
Before that, the Xbox Game Pass deal of £1 for $1 had been available and had been a well-liked draw for users to Microsoft's monthly subscription. However, it was temporarily removed at the end of March, just before Redfall's release on PC and Xbox in May.
Of course, Xbox Game Pass allows subscribers to play brand-new Microsoft titles as soon as they are released without having to pay the full price.
However, as the release of Starfield approaches - and the game arrives without the possibility of any public hands-on - the offer has been removed.
Are you curious about Starfield? To try it, you'll need to pay for a full month of Game Pass on console (£9/month), PC (£8/month), or Ultimate (£13/month). It's also £70 on the console.
