Megan Fox shows up in Mortal Kombat 1

Nitara has been revealed as the latest Mortal Kombat 1 character, and she's voiced by none other than Megan Fox.

The vampiric fighter first entered the Mortal Kombat roster in the 3D era of games and has gotten a huge makeover, with the character's voice being provided by the star of the popular vampire film Jennifer's Body.

Of course, the news comes via the release of a new video, in which we see several indications of Nitara from the game's story mode, as well as the usual array of combinations and an awful fatality to cap it all off. All of this is accompanied by commentary from Megan Fox, who discusses her experience voicing the character and why she was delighted to play Mortal Kombat's very own winged nightmare.

She is both good and evil since she is trying to save her people. I like her a lot! She is a vampire, which for some reason immediately appeals to me. Being in the game is nice because I'm not just voicing it, you know. It will read, "She's nice of me!"

An excellent parody of the less well-liked 3D games like Armageddon and Deadly Alliance seems to be Mortal Kombat 1. If we're being completely honest with ourselves, Nitara looks amazing, but there wasn't exactly a large group of Nitara fans screaming from the rooftops. If there were, they most likely went underground to their crypts long ago.

Nitara might potentially be a good alternative for the ever-present Skarlet characters. Sure, they're not the same character, but the transition from blood-bender to vampire should be easier on the human body than the other options.
