The new Mario voice has been released

The new Mario voice has been officially revealed.

The news was shared on Twitter on Friday by LA-based voice actor Kevin Afghani.

"I am so honored to have provided the voices for Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. I appreciate Nintendo letting me into the Flower Kingdom.

Arnold's voice from Genshin Impact was provided by Afgahni in the past.

The voice actor's name surfaced in a list of Mario Wonder's credits that was released earlier this week, although fan rumors suggested that another actor, Mick Wingert, was Mario's voice actor; however, the actor's representative later denied this.

Charles Martinet, who has voiced Mario for more than 25 years, stated last summer that he would be leaving the position, although Nintendo made no mention of a replacement.

Charles Martinet and Mario inventor Shigeru Miyamoto talked about Martinet's new position as "Mario Ambassador" in a video published by Nintendo last month.

Martinet stated the responsibilities of the position will include "traveling the world, sharing the joy of the Mario family, and being able to continue meeting with all of you wonderful fans, who I cherish absolutely the most."

According to this week's leaked Wonder credits, Deanna Mustard, one of Mario's longest-serving voice performers, has been recast as Daisy.

In the meantime, Samantha Kelly, who portrayed Peach, Toad, and Toadette in earlier Mario games, Kenny James, who plays Bowser, and Caety Sagoian, who plays Bowser Jr., could make a comeback.
