Blizzard has shared a road map for Diablo 4, taking us the rest of this year and causing a bit of what will come in 2026.
This roadmap reiterates that another infernal expansion is on its way, but will not be available until next year. Together with this new expansion, 2026 also promises players a new classification system, classification tables and a new something. I just say something Here, because the rest of the road map text has been wrapped by fire, but I will make an educated assumption and say that it will probably be a new class.
But, before all that, there are a lot of devil 4 chaos scheduled for 2025.
The next place on the road map is the season from April to July, which is known as Belial’s return. “Belial, Lord of Lies has again deform the reality to his will. The daring wanderers can collide with Belial and two bosses of Vessel of Hatred as part of the updated Boss de Lair system,” reads the official propaganda of the season.
There is also a “serious feline pet” on the road in the coming months, as well as a “new IP collaboration” and some quality of life adjustments to the Lair bosses.
Then, between July and September, Diablo 4 players will welcome Horadrim’s sins, which will return to Nightmare’s dungeons. Players can expect new activities here, as well as interactions “that allow you to progress the intensity of the dungeon while hunting the barons of hell” (it sounds cold).
During this time, Blizzard will also present the keyboard and mouse support for consoles as a permanent addition to the game, something that the developer said it has been a very requested feature. Between July and September, there will also be a winning pet available, although the team did not specify what type.
Going to the coldest months from September to December, we have an infernal chaos, which will bring updates of the infernal horde. As you have supposed since these months come with the head chaos headed, this means that things will become “more chaotic” for the players, since the devil 4 team puts “new options in your hands.”
There will also be a new variety of powers to win here, known as Chaos Powers. Advanced options between infernal waves will also make a performance during these months. Once again, Blizzard has joked with a winning pet and a “new IP collaboration” for between September and December, but again has maintained more details for now.
Devil 4 will celebrate its second anniversary this June. In its initial launch in 2023, we grant Diablo 4 four of five stars. “Like Old’s Blizzard successes, Diablo 4 is a designer game in the heart, based on complexity and depth. A feeling of excessive compensation retains it,” says the original review of Devil 4 of Eurogamer.
Since then, we have also been treated with a great expansion known as the glass of hatred. This expansion was also won four Eurogamer stars.
