Nintendo has confirmed how long Mario Kart World Direct will last on Thursday.
The transmission, which, according to Nintendo, “will provide detailed information on the Nintendo Switch 2 software,” will last approximately 15 minutes.
The Mario Kart World Direct will also be transmitted in the Nintendo Today application.
Mario Kart World Direct will begin on Thursday, April 17 at 6 AM PT / 9AM ET / 2PM UK. You can see the event through the video below.
Mario Kart World will be launched together with Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5. VGC played Nintendo Switch 2 after Nintendo Direct this month, and can read our complete impressions through the link.
VGC recently had the opportunity to play an extended demonstration by Mario Kart Tour, after which Chris Sculion de VGC said it was “the most excited that had been for a release game from Mario 64″.
In Mario Kart World, players can “drive practically everywhere”, and 24 pilots will appear in each race.
“Put the metal pedal in Mario Kart World, a new experience set in a vast interconnected environment,” says Nintendo’s description. “Carrera without problems through connected courses that deliver Mario Kart races like never before. Twenty -four pilots can compete in a race.
“Participate in the new Tour Knockout mode, where it will cross consecutive courses and control points, without boxes on the road. If a player does not reach each control point in a sufficiently high location, they will be eliminated.
“And on the free road, it is possible to leave the racing track and drive in any direction you want, explore areas that arouse your interest and take some photos in scenic places with a group of friends. Mario Kart World runs on Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5.”
