Platinumgames silently eliminates all the mentions of the GG project of the website

Platinumgames has eliminated all the mentions of its superhero game, Project GG, of its website.

While previously, 22 sets released and nearby have been listed there, all but nine have been eliminated, even the dedicated URL of the project with a code name now redirects to the main page.

Games like Star Fox Zero, Babylon’s Fall, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, Transformers: Devastation and The Legend of Korra have also been eliminated from Platinum’s “All Works” page.

The former master of the Platinum Games Master, Hideki Kamiya, announced the Project GG project – Codenammaming GG – in June 2020. He had been described as Kamiya described as the third and last entry in his now Trilogy of Hero Works later of the Viewtiful Joe series and the wonderful 101.

However, Kamiya left the study in 2023 and joined Clovers at the end of last year. There has been no update on the destination of the GG project since its departure.

“I saw this in a reviewer, and I have no idea why they did, but Platinumgames deleting its history on its website is extremely unfortunate,” said former Platinumgames producer, JP Kellams (thanks, VGC).

“I wonder if they took out the tiles from the carpet from the lobby too. As someone proud to work in those games, I feel deeply insulted for this.”

The Xbox developer last week began with the revelation of Ninja Gaiden 4, a new main entrance in the legendary series of action games in development of Team Ninja and Platinumgames.

It is the first new entry of the series for 13 years, and is ready to launch this autumn on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, even at Xbox game Pass.
