Respawn’s next Star Wars game confirmed for reveal

The Star Wars Studio Bit Reactor and Jedi strategy game: Survivor’s Respawn will be revealed next month, it has been confirmed.

On Saturday, April 19, the couple will appear on the Star Wars Celebration stage in Tokyo, Japan, where they will offer the first look at their “Star Wars Bass tactics game.”

Little is known about the game, which was announced along with the Respawn shooter and the third entry into the Star Wars Jedi franchise.

The strategy game is developing through a production collaboration with BIT Reactor, which is a new study formed by veterans of Xcom and civilization Studio Firaxis Games. Respawn is producing the last Star Wars strategy game, while Bit Reactor leads the development of the title.

In a statement published last year together with the announcement of almost 700 layoffs of the entire company, the president of EA Entertainment, Laura Miele, said that after a review, he had decided that the reappearance should focus on the Jedi series and Apex Legends.

Another Star Wars game was announced in 2022, led by the former veteran of Lucasarts and cooker of the Hirschmann Honor Medal, was canceled.

“The unique ability to breathe to connect with players and create exceptional game experiences is unmatched in entertainment,” Malle said in a statement. “As we have seen the Respawn portfolio in recent months, what is clear is that the games that our players are most excited are the rich Jedi and Respawn brand library.

“Knowing this, we have decided to get away from early development in a Star Wars FPS action game to focus our efforts on new projects based on our own brands while providing support for existing games.”
