After the Xbox Insider test months, all Xbox game Pass Ultimate subscribers can now transmit a “selected” number of their own games to Xbox Series X/S or Xbox One consoles, without the need to install them first. It is one of several Xbox characteristics that will be launched in April.
Microsoft first discussed by giving Xbox players the ability to transmit their own games in 2019, but the feature suffered multiple delays. Finally arrived last November, but it was only available through a limited number of platforms, namely televisions and through compatible devices such as tablets, smartphones and headphones target Quest. All compatible titles include a cloud badge on their game page, and the transmission starts by selecting the game and choosing the game option with the cloud. Together with the transmission of property games, the April Xbox update brings a series of other improvements and additions to the console. Xbox ‘Free Up Space’ screen, for example, now highlights duplicate copies of games and games to which players no longer have access, and Microsoft has also introduced new game centers in Xbox consoles.
