Batman: Arkham Trilogy is Coming to Nintendo

Batman: Arkham Trilogy will be available on Nintendo Switch on October 13th, according to Rocksteady.

Friday is unlucky for some people, but lucky for Switch owners and Batman fans because this is the first time the games will be released on Nintendo's console.

The trilogy will include Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, and Arkham Knight with all DLC stated in its initial reveal in June's Nintendo Direct.

Rocksteady revealed the release date on X along with some brand-new illustrations by artist Christian Ward.

These are masterpieces that have redefined superhero gaming. When we say these games are legendary, we mean it. From the heart-pounding storylines to the bone-crunching combat, these games have set the standard.

Each of the three games received favorable reviews and is regarded as the top Batman game available.

The Batman: Arkham Oranges game, which is set in the same universe but was made by WB Montreal rather than Rocksteady and is less well-liked, is not a part of the trilogy. The main trilogy is unquestionably superior to Gotham Knights, another WB Montreal film from the previous year.

Rocksteady has been occupied with Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, which won't be released until the following year.

The trilogy won't include Batman: Arkham Origins. It's not because we don't love it – we do! But Origins took a different development path, being the brainchild of WB Montreal instead of Rocksteady.

You might be thinking, "Hey, what about Gotham Knights?" Well, we've got an answer for that. While Gotham Knights, brought to you by WB Montreal, had its moments, it's like comparing a sidekick to the Dark Knight himself. The Batman: Arkham Trilogy isn't just a bunch of games; it's an experience that Gotham Knights aspires to be but just can't match. Sorry, Gotham Knights – the real Bat-hero is back in town.
