SEGA and DC Comics have revealed new information on the plot and works of art of a next series of crossover comics.
The first issue of DC X Sonic The Hedgehog is published on March 19 and sees Sonic and his friends attached to the Justice League.
The series will consist of five problems, with number one with two covers of variants.
The first is a group shot with Sonic, The Flash, Knuckles, Superman, Tails, Wonder Woman, Shadow, Batman, Amy Rose and Cyborg in an action post.
The other also includes silver and green hornet, and shows each group separate in their own factions.
“In DC X Sonic The Hedgehog by the writer Ian Flynn and the artist Adam Bryce Thomas, the Justice League will meet Sonic and his friends to start a new series of five -numbers comics,” says the official description of DC (through AIPT).
“The new series presents an unprecedented cross event where the Justice League and the Sonic team must join to save their worlds from great threat.”
He adds: “The action accelerates when the monstrous Darkseid crosses the dimensions to invade the world of Sonic The Hedgehog, looking for maximum power. Sonic and his friends have faced everything, from crazy scientists to ancient spirits, but Apokolips forces can be too much for them. Fortunately, the complete heroic power of the Justice League comes to support them.
“Throughout the five numbers of DC X Sonic the Hedgehog, sacrifices will be made, the heroes will increase and the need for speed will test the Justice League and Sonic’s team to its limits.”
The comic was originally announced in September 2024, along with the news that Sonic and DC would be even more collaborating in a variety of goods that cover clothing, toys and collectibles.
The collaboration of merchandise, which will begin later this year and will move to 2026, begins with a set of exclusive hood and hoodies for Target in the US. UU., With Shadow The Hedgehog dressed as Batman.
The future merchandise will see Sonic as Flash, Tails like Cyborg, Amy Rose as Wonder Woman, Knuckles like Batman and Silver as Green Lantern.
