Starfield second update for is now available

The second update for Starfield has been released by Bethesda for PC and Xbox Series X/S.

The "small update" "addresses some issues with performance and stability as well as a few general gameplay issues," according to Bethesda's statement announcing its release.

The full patch notes for the update are available below.

Additionally, Bethesda stated that it was still working on a larger update that would include the previously mentioned features and enhancements.

The studio announced earlier this month that "top community requested features" like brightness and contrast controls, an HDR calibration menu, an FOV slider, support for ultrawide monitors, and a "eat" button for food would be included in upcoming updates.

Players who pre-ordered Starfield's Premium Edition or Constellation Edition were able to begin playing on September 1 before the game's September 6 release date.

The sci-fi RPG's publisher asserted on September 19 that it had attracted 10 million players, making it "the biggest launch in Bethesda history" with that number.

Based on launch week performance, Starfield was reportedly the fifth fastest-selling game in Europe this year.
