Starfield streams will begin eight hours before the game's release

Streaming of Starfield will begin eight hours before the game's release.

Streamers are expected to be able to start live streaming Starfield eight hours before the beginning of the early access period.

According to their time zone, players who purchase the game's Premium Edition or Constellation Edition will have early access to Starfield beginning on August 31 or September 1.

Streamers who have received a copy of the game from Bethesda, on the other hand, are reportedly going to be able to start streaming it as soon as the review embargo is lifted. Bethesda has released the day one update (version 1.7.23.0) for its upcoming action role-playing game Starfield.

The review embargo on Starfield will be lifted on Thursday, August 31, at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. BST, at which point numerous publications will publish their full reviews of the game.

Despite the fact that early access doesn't begin until 5 p.m. PDT, 8 p.m. ET, or 1 a.m. BST that night, streamers will then be able to begin streaming the game at this point. The game is already preloaded on Xbox Series X/S, and Steam preloading begins today.

Although this strategy hasn't always worked, some players have already shared Starfield footage. Darin Harris, 29, was arrested after allegedly stealing and attempting to sell copies of Starfield on his YouTube channel.

Harris has been charged with submitting listings for multiple copies of the game, including the $300 Constellation Edition, to the Japanese e-commerce platform Mercari. It's unclear how he obtained copies of the game before its official release.

Starfield was supposed to be released last November, but it was postponed once more to the first half of 2023 in May of 2022. Bethesda announced a new delay in March, but the game is now set to be released on September 6.
